"Mimmy" performance
Just like the headlights of passing cars would cast fleeting shadows on the walls at night during childhood, this play projects itself onto the heart. But sadly, what peers through little Zlata’s window tonight is the “dragon of war.”
Based on the real diaries of 11-year-old Zlata Filipović, Mimmy is brought to life through the words of Mərvə Mənai, the rich direction of Aynur Zərrintac, and the powerful performance of Fidan Hüseynzadə (with a special round of applause for Nina as well).
A production by Ritual Theatre.
This performance is intended for both adults and teenagers.
Playwright: Mərvə Mənai Director: Aynur Zərrintac Actress: Fidan Hüseynzadə

What does it mean to be an artist in Azerbaijan?
We often hear around us that art is not developing in Azerbaijan, and that most of the good films, music, and plays were made during the Soviet era.
Past

Emilya, what do you say?
In this performance, we want to re-imagine the traditional childhood fairy tale “Tig-Tig Khanum” through the prism of loneliness and separation, bringing together the stories of modern people.
